Marco Né and Emmanuel Eboué gave a trail at Highbury in December, 2004 and signed a 4 year contract of 1.54 million pounds with the Arsenal on 1st January, 2005. He made his first appearance in the match against Stoke City in the FA Cup. In 2004 to 2005, he made one appearance as a substitute player in the FA Premier League match. Emmanuel Eboué is a football player from Cote d'Ivoire and is currently playing for the Cote d'Ivoire national team and the English Premier League club, Arsenal as a right back/right midfielder. He was born on 4 June, 1983 in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. He started playing football in 2000 when he joined he youth division of the famous local football club, ASEC Mimosas. He climbed up the ranks in the club and in 2001 he played for the senior team of ASEC Mimosas. He played for the club in 25 matches and scored 3 goals until September 2002, when he was transferred to the Belgian football club, K.S.K. Beveren. In his new club he played for three seasons. K.S.K. Beveren was collaborating with the English club Arsenal to develop young, talented players and so on December 2004, he and his team mate Marco Né were put on trial. Just days after his joining Arsenal he made his debut for the team against Stoke City in the FA Cup. However, he was not made a regular in the team and was made to play just once in the 2004-2005 FA Premier League.
