He started his career in 1997 playing for Hurriyya Football Club. He played there for three subsequent years. In the year 2001 he got an opportunity to sigh his contract with Club Valencia and played with them for two years.
After playing with Valencia, he signed his contract with Island Football Club in 2004. Unfortunately he played only one year for Island FC. In the year 2005, Mohammed Jameel got an opportunity to sign his contract with New Radiant Club, which is one of the famous clubs in Maldives. He was with the club till 2006. After appearing one year for New Radiant he resigned from the team.
After coming out from New Radiant in 2006, he got an offer from Club Valencia which was also his also his previous club were he played before. He joined Club Valencia in 2007. After Jameels’s return to the club he has become one of the top most performers in the team. He currently plays with the jersey number five.
